Role Description The Accounts Receivable Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Skopje. This position is responsible for managing customer invoicing, recording incoming payments, and maintaining accurate accounts receivable records. Daily tasks include reconciling customer accounts, following up on outstanding balances, resolving billing discrepancies, and preparing reports on receivables and cash flow. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams and customers to ensure timely collections and clear communication regarding payment terms and status. The Accounts Receivable Accountant supports the finance function by contributing to month-end closing and continuous process improvements related to billing and collections.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Accounting and Finance skills, including experience with accounts receivable processes.
- Candidates should possess Invoicing skills, including accurate invoice creation, posting, and reconciliation.
- Candidates should possess Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify discrepancies, and support decision-making.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for interacting with customers, colleagues, and management.
- Proficiency with accounting software and Excel or other spreadsheet tools.
- Attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.
- Previous experience in accounting or accounts receivable, ideally in logistics or transportation, is beneficial.
- Relevant post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is preferred.
