Role Description
This is a part time, on-site role for an Accounts Payable Specialist based in Shawnee, KS. The position involves overseeing and managing accounts payable functions, including processing invoices, reconciling purchase orders, preparing and maintaining expense reports, ensuring accurate financial entries, and resolving discrepancies. The specialist will collaborate closely with the finance team to ensure compliance with accounting standards and organizational policies.
Qualifications
- Experience with Expense Reports and processing related documentation
- Strong Analytical Skills for handling financial data and identifying discrepancies
- Knowledge of Finance and Accounting principles
- Proficiency in Journal Entries and other accounting tasks
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and related tools
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required
- Experience in a retail or sales-focused environment is a plus
