Genesis10 is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Associate for a hybrid position (3 days onsite per week) with a Major Financial Services Firm located in New York, NY. This is a renewable contract opportunity and may have potential to convert in the future. Pay range $35-37/hr W2 only.
We are looking for a professional to update vendors and process invoices through a workflow approval process. This role requires knowledge of SAP, strong communication skills, and a thorough understanding of 1099 requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Perform due diligence for onboarding new vendors
- Process invoices through Esker
- Verify the coding is correct
- Email vendors
Requirements:
- Knowledge and experience working within a large department in a corporate atmosphere
- Effective communication and good interpersonal skills
- Self-motivation with the ability to escalate issues as necessary
- Effective teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently
- Knowledge and experience of SAP
- Experience using a procurement system
- Understanding 1099 reporting requirements and the ability to review and process 1099s
