Job Description
Accounts Receivable & Credit Control
- Monitor customer balances, aging reports, and overdue accounts to ensure timely collection.
- Coordinate with lawyers and secretaries to resolve billing and payment discrepancies.
Regional Finance Review & Support (Yangon & Vietnam)
- Review financial reports, reconciliations, and supporting schedules from Yangon and Vietnam offices.
- Provide guidance and support to regional finance teams on accounting and reporting matters.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes for regional offices.
Vietnam Branch Transaction Posting
- Ensure timely, accurate posting of Vietnam branch financial transactions into head office accounting systems.
- Review source documents and reconciliations to ensure completeness and accuracy before posting.
- Coordinate with the Vietnam finance team to resolve discrepancies and posting delays.
- Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for inter-branch transactions.
India Tax Reporting (Outsourced Tax Agents)
- Liaise with outsourced tax agents on India tax reporting.
- Provide required financial data and supporting documents to tax agents.
- Review tax filings prepared by agents and track compliance deadlines.
- Maintain records of India tax filings and correspondence.
Ad-Hoc Duties
- Perform additional finance-related tasks and assignments as requested by management to support business and operational needs.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Accounting or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of working experiences in general accounting.
- Meticulous and able to multi task and work well under tight deadlines.
- Has initiative and excellent analytical skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Computer literacy with high proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Microsoft Excel.
- Available to commence work immediately or within short notice.
