We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts/Finance Assistant to join our finance team. In this role, you will support day-to-day accounting operations, assist with financial reporting, and help ensure accurate and timely financial record-keeping. You will collaborate with the finance manager and other teams to maintain smooth financial operations and contribute to business decision-making.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Prepare, verify, and process invoices, payments, and expense reports.
- Reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and financial transactions.
- Support payroll and employee reimbursement processes.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare basic financial reports, summaries, and documentation for management.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and accounting standards.
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records and files.
- Support audits and documentation as required.
- Collaborate with team members to improve financial processes.
✅ Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial operations.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) is a plus.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Internship or prior experience in accounting/finance is an advantage.
