OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY:
The Intern will support the Accounting and Tax team with tax compliance, financial reporting, and general accounting responsibilities. This role provides hands-on exposure to how accounting and tax functions work together within a corporate environment.
DESCRIBE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
- Assist with preparation of tax work papers and filings
- Support month-end close and account reconciliations
- Analyze financial data and prepare reports
- Organize documentation for audits and compliance
- Support special projects across accounting and tax
Ancillary responsibilities:
- All other duties as required or needed.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- Interest in corporate accounting, tax, or finance
- Strong Excel skills
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
