Main Responsibilities:
- Manage and perform accounting activities, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
- Prepare financial statements and reports in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls to ensure compliance and reliability of financial information.
- Support audits (internal and external), ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
- Identify opportunities to automate and improve accounting processes, increasing efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial analysis and decision-making.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance and accounting function.
- We believe that the right profile for this job should have /be:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related fields.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, treasury or similar roles.
- Experience in Banking and/or Insurance sectors.
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (IFRS prefer
- red).
- Experience in financial controls, reconciliations, and closing processes.
- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) is a plus.
- Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems.
- Knowledge of automation and data tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, or Copilot is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving mindset.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
