Operations Accounting Manager: You will be responsible for managing and overseeing operational accounting activities, including accounts payable and accounts receivable. Supervise and mentor personnel in operational accounting.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes related to operations, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled on time.
- Identify and implement process improvements, such as automating manual tasks or refining workflows to enhance productivity.
- Collaborate with other internal teams, e.g., operations, procurement, and sales, to ensure accurate financial data and reporting.
- Coordinate with external tax advisors on sales & use tax matters.
- Assist with system implementations, upgrades, and process automation initiatives. Previous experience with ERP implementation is a plus.
- Maintain robust internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulations.
Education & Experience:
- Degree in Accounting, CPA or CPA Candidate preferred
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably with 2–3 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills (e.g., PivotTables, VLOOKUPs).
