We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and leadership-driven Accounting Manager to join our crew in Zagreb and steer our local financial operations into smooth waters.
Your Mission on Board:
As our Accounting Manager, you will take full ownership of the accounting and finance functions for Dream Yacht Croatia, ensuring total local compliance while acting as the bridge to our global headquarters.
🔹 Lead & Mentor: Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the local accounting team, fostering a high-performance culture. 🔹 Financial Stewardship: Oversee the accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closures (final accounts). 🔹 Tax & Legal Anchor: Ensure absolute compliance with Croatian accounting, legal, and fiscal regulations, including VAT management and submission. 🔹 Strategic Partner: Cooperate directly with external auditors, tax advisors, banks, and regulatory bodies to optimize our regional financial activities.
Who you are? (The Must-Haves):
⚓ Experienced Leader: 5 to 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a proven track record of managing or supervising a team. ⚓ Compliance Expert: Full autonomy in handling Croatian financial regulations, tax laws, and year-end financial statement closures. ⚓ Global Communicator: Fluency in English (C1 level minimum) is mandatory to report to and collaborate with our international teams (French is a huge bonus! 🇫🇷). ⚓ Tech-Savvy: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and operational experience with regional ERP systems like Pantheon and 4D-WAND. ⚓ Resilient Mindset: A proactive, highly organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure, and seasonal market.
