JCW is currently partnered with a fast-growing fintech firm on a 3–6 month contract engagement for an Accounting Consultant to support their team during a critical period of growth and transformation. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic, innovative environment and make an immediate impact. This is a remote opportunity with location in EST working locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support month-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Assist with financial reporting and ensure accuracy and timeliness of deliverables
- Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, operations, and leadership teams
- Help streamline processes and improve existing accounting workflows
- Support audit readiness and compliance initiatives as needed
Qualifications:
- 4–8+ years of accounting experience (public + industry preferred)
- Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and financial reporting
- Prior experience within fintech, financial services, or high-growth environments is a plus
- Previous remote working experience
- Ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced setting
