We are seeking a highly experienced Accounting Associate to support and manage US-based accounting operations. This role will oversee full-cycle accounting, month-end close, compliance, internal controls, and process improvements for US entities.
The ideal candidate has at least 4+ years of experience working with US companies or US clients, strong knowledge of US GAAP, proficiency in QuickBooks, and excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Record Management
Accounts Payable
- Support AP process, including reviewing & recording vendor invoices, initiating & posting payments, assisting in vendor account audits (as necessary);
- Prepare, review, and process Vendor invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies;
- Track payment deadlines and ensure timely payments to vendors and service providers;
- Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status and resolve any discrepancies;
- Monitor and address outstanding payables.
Accounts Receivable
- Assist the billing team in the monthly bill run to ensure timely customer invoicing
- Depositing & posting of receipts and credits;
- Monitor outstanding receivables and address as necessary.
Organize and maintain digital and physical financial documents for easy retrieval and audit readiness.
Reconciliation and Reporting
- Assist in reconciling bank statements, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.
- Compile and prepare financial reports, summaries, and other data as requested by management.
- Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and adherence to GAAP;
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes with Controller, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
Budget and Expense Monitoring
- Monitor and track departmental expenses, ensuring they align with approved budgets.
- Identify discrepancies and communicate findings to the accounting team for resolution.
Administrative Support
- Support the accounting team with filing, data entry, and correspondence.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
- Perform other general administrative duties to ensure smooth departmental operations.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Prior experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role is a plus.
Skills:
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
