Role Summary
The Accounting Analyst plays a key role in supporting core accounting and accounts payable operations for a centralized support organization that works closely with field level business units. This position is responsible for invoice processing, accruals, journal entries, and vendor coordination, while ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
In this role, you will contribute directly to timely financial reporting, partner with cross functional teams including FP and A, and support month end close activities. The position offers strong exposure to balance sheet accounts and foundational accounting processes, with long term growth potential.
Key Responsibilities
• Accurately code and process marketing and support related invoices in a timely manner
• Reconcile invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation
• Partner with internal teams to ensure new payments are properly coded and approved
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor payment issues
• Maintain monthly recurring payment logs and ensure vendors are paid within agreed terms
• Prepare, record, and post month end accruals and journal entries
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve outstanding balances
• Support accounting transactions between centralized operations and field locations
Key Requirements
• Three to five years of accounting or accounts payable experience, with openness to recent graduates who have relevant internships or entry level exposure
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent accounting experience
• Solid understanding of general accounting principles and accounts payable processes
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and logical formulas
• Experience with journal entries, accrual accounting, prepaid expenses, or vendor reconciliations
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
• Clear and professional communication skills with internal partners and external vendors
Location and Work Environment
• Corporate headquarters location in Sandy Springs, Georgia
• Fully onsite during the initial training period, approximately ninety days
• Hybrid schedule available after training with three days in office
