We're looking for an Accountant to join our growing finance team and support Lithuanian financial operations.
About the role
You'll manage full-cycle accounting processes for Lithuanian entities while working closely with the CFO, Chief Accountant and finance team. You'll help ensure compliance with LT accounting standards, improve financial processes through automation, and contribute to building a scalable finance function that supports the company's continued growth.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the full accounting cycle, from journal entries to financial reporting.
- Oversee General Ledger (GL) processes and ensure data accuracy.
- Prepare, review, and reconcile financial records in accordance with LT accounting standards.
- Analyze financial information and ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
- Own month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial operations.
- Manage financial reporting, audits, and strategic finance initiatives.
What we're looking for
- Hands-on experience managing full-cycle accounting.
- Strong knowledge of Lithuanian accounting standards, payroll regulations, tax laws, and familiarity with international accounting standards.
- Good English communication skills.
- Ability to take ownership and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience using AI tools to improve productivity, automate routine work, analyze data, and optimize financial processes.
- Growth mindset and passion for continuous improvement.
Nice to have
- Experience working with Lithuanian companies or international organizations operating in Lithuania.
- Experience in a fast-growing or technology-driven business.
- Experience with Transfer Pricing.
Salary
Depending on the role and experience: 2500 EUR – 3500 EUR gross
