Senior Accountant

the Opportunity Fuze HR Solutions is recruiting for a Senior Accountant on behalf of an established organization based in Burlington, Ontario. This role is suited for an experienced accounting professional who can manage core accounting functions, ensure financial accuracy, and contribute to ongoing process improvements within a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform full-cycle accounting, including general ledger maintenance and reconciliations
Prepare financial statements and supporting documentation
Execute month-end and year-end close processes
Perform account and bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
Analyze financial results, including variances in revenue and expenses
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal policies
Support budgeting and forecasting activities
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
Collaborate with internal teams to address financial inquiries
Identify and recommend process improvements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
4–7 years of relevant accounting experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment
Experience with full-cycle accounting and financial reporting
Strong knowledge of general accounting principles (e.g., GAAP)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
CPA designation or enrollment in a CPA program is considered an asset

Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $75,000 – $90,000 per year
Vacation: 2 weeks annually, with flexibility to negotiate up to 3 weeks
Employer-paid benefits (100%) Additional details will be provided during later stages of the hiring process
