Job Purpose

To carry out accounts payable activities, analyze financial data, maintain records, support budget preparation, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company financial policies.

Responsibilities

• Handle cluster’s accounts payable activities, accruals, and month-end reconciliations.

• Verify expense reports and prepare pay checks for management approval.

• Track supplier accounts, invoices, and purchase orders, and ensure timely, accurate payments.

• Support the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, analyze variances, and suggest cost-saving measures.

• Process payment vouchers, petty cash, contingent, contracting, and employment liabilities.

• Prepare payroll reports and perform GL-level account reconciliations.

• Manage employee advances, loan accounts, and pension contributions for UAE national employees.

• Maintain financial records including general ledger entries and ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and IAS.

• Ensure proper documentation and accuracy in financial entries.

• Provide data analysis and reports to internal stakeholders.

• Assist in audits and internal financial reviews.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

• Certifications: CPA, CMA, or ACCA is an advantage.

• Experience: 1–4 years in an accounts payable or similar finance role.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting tools

• Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance

• Ability to analyze numerical data and interpret trends

• Excellent organizational and follow-up skills

• Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus

• Knowledge of accounting software and IT systems
