We are a holding company for a number of operating businesses seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to join our team. If you have a strong grasp of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and a proactive approach, we'd love to hear from you.
Role Description
- Manage and maintain financial records, and prepare reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate billing and payment processing
- Handle accounts payables, receivables and reconciliation.
- Manager tax filings and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Review and analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Assist in Budget preparation, monitor budgets, and provide cost projections for business decisions
- Manage and coordinate procurement activities, including purchasing, contract management, and supplier/vendor relations
- Negotiate with suppliers/vendors to obtain the best terms and prices for the company
- Develop procurement strategies and policies to reduce costs and improve efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Minimum of 2 years experience in accounting and procurement management
- Knowledge of accounting and financial reporting software (Zoho Preferred)
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Experience in an interior design or construction firm is a plus.
