POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee full financial function responsibilities within the business.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
- Handle reconciliations, journals, and month-end processes with precision.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Ensure strong financial controls and identify areas for process improvement.
- Work closely with operational teams to align financial insights with business activities.
- Analyse financial data and provide meaningful insights to support decision-making.
- Maintain and optimise the use of financial systems, particularly BuildSmart.
Qualifications & Experience:
- BCom in Accounting or Finance, along with completed articles.
- Minimum of 3+ years’ post-articles experience.
- Industry experience within building and construction is advantageous.
- BuildSmart experience is essential (non-negotiable).
- Strong technical accounting skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
