About The Job
Based in our Switzerland (Geneva) Head Office, and part of our Central Europe Team (Switzerland, Hungary, Romania and Czech Republic) you will be joining our Accounting Department to support the Head of Accounting as well as the Accounting Team.
In your role you will report directly to the Head of Accounting.
Job responsibilities
The missions will be as follows:
Responsible for General Ledger entities, which includes payroll, asset management, for several legal entities
Taxes and statistics calculation and reporting
Support the operational requirements
Prepare documentation and support communication with our internal and external auditors
Active role in the monthly / quarterly closing process
Account reconciliations
Profile
Some of main skills and strengths:
University degree in finance /accounting
Relevant working experience of minimum 7-10 years in accounting department within an international environment
Fluent in German and English are mandatory, other languages are a plus
Experience in a dynamic international environment is required
Strong customers orientation (service minded)
Capable of handling multiple tasks, proactive and to work autonomously with some direction
Able to meet with tight deadlines and to cope with changes
Advanced SAP and Excel skills
An enquiring mind, supportive of continuous process improvement
Previous retail industry experience and/or audit (Big 5) experience are a plus.
