We’re looking for someone who doesn’t just “do accounting” but owns the numbers end-to-end.
Role Overview
You’ll be responsible for end-to-end accounting, reconciliations, receivables, and compliance across multiple channels (D2C, marketplaces, offline).
This is a high-ownership role where accuracy, speed, and problem-solving matter every single day.
What You’ll Own
📊 Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Manage day-to-day accounting in Tally
- Maintain clean, accurate, and audit-ready books
- Ensure strong documentation and audit trails
💰 Receivables & Cash Flow
- Manage invoicing and collections across channels
- Track receivables, reduce DSO, and drive follow-ups
- Prepare AR aging and collection forecasts
- Handle trade claims, discounts, and deductions
🔍 Reconciliation (Core Focus)
- Reconcile transactions across:
- Shopify (D2C website)
- Marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.)
- Payment gateways (Razorpay, EMI partners)
- Track settlements, refunds, and chargebacks
- Identify mismatches and revenue leakages
- Ensure bank vs books reconciliation is always accurate
📑 Compliance (Non-Negotiable)
- File GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B)
- Handle TDS filings and reconciliations
- Ensure timely statutory payments (GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, PT)
- Match GST returns with books monthly
- Maintain audit-ready compliance records
🤝 Payables & Operations
- Process vendor invoices and manage payments
- Track payables and coordinate with vendors
- Support payroll inputs and statutory deductions
🏦 Banking & Documentation
- Coordinate with banks for FIRC, LC, and related documentation
- Maintain TDS receivable & recoverable records
📈 MIS & Reporting
- Prepare monthly MIS and financial reports
- Support audits and resolve discrepancies
- Provide accurate data to founders for decision-making
What We’re Looking For
- 1–3 years of experience in accounting or similar role
- Strong proficiency in Tally and Excel
- Hands-on experience in GST & TDS filings
- Good understanding of accounting principles and compliance
Nice to Have
- Experience in FMCG / D2C / ecommerce environments
- Familiarity with Shopify, Razorpay, or marketplace dashboards
