Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant at Ammu's Class Ruum, located in Hulhumale'. The Accountant will manage daily financial operations, including bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and financial reporting. The role requires maintaining accurate financial records, preparing budgets, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The Accountant will contribute to financial decision-making processes and collaborate with other departments to support the center's financial goals.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in bookkeeping, preparing financial reports, and analyzing budgets
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheet tools
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team in a dynamic environment
- Familiarity with financial compliance and local tax regulations is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Experience in an educational or nonprofit setting is advantageous
