We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team in a full-time, permanent position.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is a hands-on and varied role where you’ll contribute to financial accuracy, reporting, and process improvement across multiple areas of the business.
Swap traffic and office blocks for vineyards, open space, and a vibrant hospitality business where no two days are the same. This role offers exposure beyond standard accounting—giving you insight into events, tourism, and hospitality operations in a well-established business.

THE ROLE
This is a broad role that requires strong accounting knowledge and advanced Microsoft Excel skills to add value to our financial management processes and to the business.
The Accountant role is responsible for maintaining financial accuracy, generating essential reports and supporting the finance team. The accountant will also be responsible for the following functions:
- Preparation and delivery of monthly financial reporting
- Coordination of outsourced fortnightly payroll, including PAYG, payroll tax, and superannuation
- Management of accounting system compliance and integrity
- Monthly BAS reporting
- General ledger and bank reconciliations
- Financial and management analysis
- Review of stock-take procedures
- Maintenance of fixed asset registers
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve financial discrepancies and improve accounting processes
- Support the Financial controller with adhoc projects
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies
- This position requires a strong grasp of accounting principles, excellent organisational skills and a commitment to continual improvement of our accounting processes.
