Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Mid-Level Accountant to manage accounts receivable, client billing, and payment tracking. The role requires close coordination with internal teams and clients to ensure timely invoicing, collections, and accurate financial records in company.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage client invoicing as per contracts, milestones, and service agreements
- Track payments, follow up on outstanding receivables, and maintain ageing reports
- Reconcile client accounts and bank statements on a regular basis
- Ensure accurate recording of receipts in the accounting system
- Coordinate with sales and project teams to resolve billing and payment issues
- Support monthly closing, audits, and financial reporting related to receivables
- process monthly payroll, including salary calculations, deductions, and payouts
- Maintain payroll records, employee reimbursements, and statutory deductions
- Coordinate with HR, sales, and project teams to resolve payroll and billing issues
- Support monthly closing, audits, and compliance with statutory requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
- 3–5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in an IT or service-based company
- Strong knowledge of accounts receivable, invoicing, and reconciliations
- Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Zoho, QuickBooks, or ERP systems)
- Good knowledge of Excel and financial reporting
- Strong follow-up, communication, and analytical skills
