Title: Accountant

Key responsibilities
– General ledger / AP & AR accounting: prepare and review journal entries, maintain the GL and perform reconciliations.
– Fixed assets & expense accounting: record asset additions/disposals/depreciation, support asset inventory and cost capitalization. Accounting reimbursements and other operational costs.
– Tax & statutory compliance: work closely with tax advisor to support VAT, CIT and other filings.
– Period‑end close: complete month‑end and year‑end closing tasks and prepare financial statements and supporting schedules.
– Audit & external liaison: coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors; prepare audit schedules and respond to audit inquiries. Work closely with HQ to support the group audit.
– Cross‑functional collaboration: work closely with operations, HR, procurement and regulatory authorities (IRAS and ACRA) to resolve accounting issues.
Preferred / Nice‑to‑have
– Knowledge of SAP operations.
– Hands‑on experience with intercompany transactions, transfer pricing, cost capitalization (R&D) or project accounting.
– Experience coordinating statutory audits and tax audits end‑to‑end.
