Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role located in Navi Mumbai. The Accountant will be responsible for preparing and examining financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining accurate financial statements. Duties will include managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing monthly and annual financial reports, reconciling accounts, conducting audits, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities. The role also requires collaborating with other departments to ensure financial data integrity and supporting decision-making processes with accurate reporting.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding and experience in Financial Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Budget Management
- Skilled in General Ledger Management, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable
- Proficiency in Financial Software and Tools, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, ZOHO
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CA certification is a plus)
- Prior experience in an accounting role, ideally in a dynamic or medium-to-large organization
- Knowledge of local financial regulations and tax laws
