Position: Account Supervisor (Pharma)
Lead the full AP cycle, including invoice intake, coding, approvals, matching, exception handling, and payment execution.
Own vendor master data stewardship and vendor inquiry resolution standards, in partnership with Purchasing and Operations
Manage payment runs, payment controls, and reconciliation routines to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Lead, coach, and develop the AP team, building a clear day-to-day operating rhythm and strong accountability.
Build a scalable AP model that can absorb new entities, including integration planning, cutover steps, training, and process adoption.
Support broader Corporate Services transformation initiatives as needed, with AP as a key enabling function.
Provide ongoing training on systems, policies, and controls, fostering accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Conduct regular 1:1s, performance evaluations, and support employee development and succession planning.
Controls, Compliance, and Audit Readiness
Own AP controls, segregation of duties, and approval workflows, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Maintain documentation and evidence for audit, including reconciliations, approvals, and exception tracking.
Partner with Finance leadership on month end close requirements and ensure AP cutoffs and accrual routines are consistent and reliable.
Partner with IT and Finance to improve workflows, reporting, and automation opportunities (including invoice routing and approval performance)
Establish operating metrics for AP performance, including cycle times, backlog, exception rates, vendor issues, and payment accuracy.
Post secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
~7 plus years of progressive AP or finance operations experience, including people leadership.
~ Experience in a multi-site or shared services environment, preferably with integration or change management exposure.
~ Strong understanding of AP controls, approval frameworks, and payment governance
~ ERP experience required, Tecsys Elite experience is an asset, strong comfort operating in modern ERP workflows and reporting.
~ Strong communicator with a practical, customer minded approach to service and issue resolution
