Management Accountant (Multiple Seniority Levels)
We are looking for Management Accountants at various seniority levels to join the Budapest Shared Service Center of our international partner.
We are seeking professionals who:
- Have progressed beyond entry-level accounting roles.
- Have gained experience across multiple areas of accounting (rather than specializing solely in one area, such as AP or bank accounting).
- Have solid exposure to General Ledger (GL) processes, month-end close activities, reporting, and more complex accounting tasks.
- Have experience working in a Shared Service Center (SSC) or another structured corporate environment.
Responsibilities
- Actively participate in the month-end closing process.
- Prepare and review journal entries.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations.
- Conduct variance analysis and prepare financial reports.
- Manage intercompany transactions and more complex accounting entries.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and projects.
Requirements
- Several years of relevant accounting experience.
- Hands-on experience with month-end closing and financial reporting.
- Broad exposure to accounting processes and functions.
- Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, basic functions such as VLOOKUP and SUMIF).
- Experience with ERP systems (knowledge of NetSuite and/or BlackLine is an advantage).
- Confident English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- For the Senior Management Accountant position, knowledge of US GAAP is required.
- For the Senior Management Accountant position, knowledge of EMEA is required.
