Job Description
Our client, a FinTech, is seeking a financially disciplined and operationally strong individual to oversee and manage all PeerPay financial contributions, project expenditures, implementation budgets, and financial reporting for ongoing strategic projects and partnerships.
Preferred Background & Qualifications
- Strong background in finance, accounting, project finance, or financial operations.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, project accounting, operations finance, or financial controls.
- Experience working in fintech, technology, consulting, development projects, or fast-paced operational environments is preferred.
- Strong budgeting, forecasting, reconciliation, and reporting capability.
- Experience managing implementation/project budgets and funding releases.
- Deep understanding of financial governance and approval controls.
- Experience tracking operational expenditures across multiple teams or locations.
- Ability to establish robust financial reporting systems and accountability structures.
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets and reporting capability.
- Experience with procurement controls and vendor payment management is an advantage.
- High integrity, detail-oriented, and operationally disciplined.
Role Expectations
- Manage and track all PeerPay project-related expenditures and financial support.
- Monitor budget utilization and implementation spending.
- Coordinate financial approvals and disbursement controls.
- Prepare weekly/monthly financial and operational reports.
- Ensure strict compliance with approved budgets and governance processes.
- Support implementation planning with accurate financial forecasting and cost analysis.
- Work closely with operations, project management, and leadership teams.
- Assist in establishing scalable financial accountability systems for deployment activities.
